The long journey of The Land Beneath Us – Winning the Best Game Design Award at the SEA Game Awards 2023 (Level Up KL)!
From being a finalist to being a winner! After a long journey, The Land Beneath Us is ready for release in the coming year! (Q1, 2024).
On Friday night, 29 September 2023, FairPlay Studio’s title, The Land Beneath Us was announced as the winner of the Best Game Design Awards category from LEVEL UP KL: SEA Game Awards 2023 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

On Friday night, 29 September 2023, our FairPlay Studio’s title, The Land Beneath Us was announced as the winner of the Best Game Design Awards category from LEVEL UP KL: SEA Game Awards 2023 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
In 2021 the game was shortlisted as one of the finalists. However, our team committed to improving and developing the title, and this year we came back stronger with more content and a newly improved The Land Beneath Us! Our team continued to develop the game to reach its best with the feedback and comments that we received from real rogue-like fans, becoming the current version that we are so proud of.
Thank you to the SEA Game Awards for giving us such an amazing opportunity and the award. We couldn’t be more honored to win the biggest game development competition in the SEA region and are very happy to see Thai developers on this international stage.
